Residents of Jaypee Aman society protest against builder Suraksha over incomplete project work and poor maintenance

Noida 27 April– Residents of Jaypee Aman Society in Sector 151, Noida, have intensified their protest from 26 April 2025 against Suraksha Group, which has taken over the projects of JIL after its bankruptcy, over long-pending project work issues—particularly the incomplete plaster and paint work in the residential complex.

In a significant development, a meeting was held on March 18 between Suraksha’s CEO and representatives of the society to address two critical concerns: the club facility and incomplete finishing work across the premises.

While the residents have welcomed the approval of the club facility by the Noida Authority—thanks to the submission of final drawings by Suraksha—they remain deeply dissatisfied with the builder’s continued unwillingness to carry out essential plaster and paint work, despite repeated follow-ups and commitments by former builder JIL.

In response, a large number of Jaypee Aman residents organized a large-scale protest on 26 April 2025 with other homebuyers of other Jaypee projects at Suraksha’s Sector 128 office. The demonstration continued for over three hours and eventually led to a high-level meeting involving:

  • CEO of Suraksha Group
  • Additional District Magistrate
  • City Magistrate
  • Sub-Divisional Officer
  • Assistant Commissioner of Police
  • Hemant Parmar (Resident Representative, Jaypee Aman Society)

During the meeting, district authorities acknowledged the legitimacy of the resident’s demands and directed the builder to provide a detailed progress update within the next 15 days.

Hemant Parmar, the resident representative of JP Aman Society, said,
“This is not just about plaster and paint; it is about our right to live with dignity in the homes for which we have spent our hard-earned money. We are grateful for the support of the police and other government officials, but our protest will continue until the construction of the clubhouse begins promptly and the plastering and painting work is completed.”

The residents have announced that regular protests will continue until Suraksha begins the pending project work. The community urges fellow residents to join the cause and stay united in demanding accountability.
